A Tennessee Independent Contractor Agreement is a document used to bind two parties, a contractor and a client, to a contract that relays the terms in the exchange of financial compensation for professional services. The document outlines the exact monetary amount to be supplied, the due date of the services, the independent nature of the contractor, and any additional provision as agreed upon by both parties. The relationship between client and contractor differs from that of an employee and employer in that the client can dictate the services provided and the date by which they must be completed, but they cannot establish the means and manner of execution.
