A Utah buyer agency agreement is a contract that is used when a home buyer wishes to be represented by a real estate agent in pursuing the purchase of property. In accordance with the agreement, the agent will seek to find a piece of real estate that suits the client’s specifications and negotiate a favorable deal. The agent will be compensated as stated in the contract, earning a commission upon successfully negotiating a real estate deal for the client. Once the agreement has been signed, both parties are contractually bound to it until its termination date or a purchase has occurred.
