An HR meeting agenda is a written plan for a company’s HR department meeting. The agenda outlines the meeting goals, topics of discussion, and any decisions to be made or votes to be taken by the attendees. The Secretary will record meeting minutes to be approved by the meeting Chairperson and distributed to all attendees.

Formatting (11 Parts)
I. Opening
The meeting chairperson will welcome all attendees and explain the overall goals of the meeting.
II. Attendance
The secretary will record all attendees and absentees.
III. Agenda Approval
The secretary will distribute the agenda for the attendees to review. Attendees can request additions and the chairperson will lead a vote to approve the final agenda.
IV. Previous Meeting Minutes
The secretary will distribute the meeting minutes from the department’s previous meeting and the chairperson will lead a vote to approve the minutes.
V. Recruitment
A recruitment staff member will highlight any new hires since the previous meetings and review the status of current job openings in the company.
VI. Payroll
A payroll staff member will update the group on any payroll issues.
VII. Benefits
An HR manager will update the group on any benefits issues.
VIII. Professional Development
A professional development staff member will review all ongoing and upcoming staff training activities.
IX. Incident Reports
The chairperson or other HR staff member will review any incident reports that have occurred since the previous department meeting.
X. Other Items
The attendees can discuss any other outstanding items of business.
XI. Adjournment
The chairperson will approve the meeting minutes recorded by the secretary and will call an end to the meeting.
