A Louisiana partnership agreement allows partners of a business to detail the stakes, roles, and management in a legally-binding document. Louisiana offers four types of partnership models for businesses, varying in liability and tax considerations. This agreement can be used for small businesses, real estate companies, startups, and more.
Louisiana is the only state that has not adopted the Uniform Partnership Act, which provides a standard set of laws and guidelines for regulating partnerships.
