A Texas property management agreement is a document that is used to delineate the business relationship between a real estate broker and a Texas property owner. It enables the broker to provide managerial services for the owner, taking care of the rental or leasing of their property on their behalf. The exact duties to be performed by the professional will be relayed in the document as will the compensation they will receive for their services. Both individuals should go over the document in its entirety before agreeing to sign.

Requirements (§ 1101.351) – A real estate broker license is required should the property manager be hired to perform any of the tasks listed under Sec. 1101.002(1)(a).
