A construction referral agreement is made between a contractor or subcontractor and an agent seeking to promote their services for a fee. The fee may either be a fixed amount or, most commonly, a percentage (%) of the total cost of the project (materials + labor). Payment is commonly made by the contractor to the agent after receiving final payment from the client.
