Required Disclosures (3)

1. Landlord’s Disclosure – The landlord must provide their information to the tenant and any individuals allowed to enter the premises.[1]

  • General Excise Tax Number – This must be provided so a tenant can apply for a low-income tax credit (this can be found on this webpage. Use the link titled “Search Tax Licenses” and enter the landlord’s name in the search bar).[2]

2. Move-in Condition Report – Before entering into a lease, the landlord must give the tenant a copy of the property’s current condition.[3]

3. Lead-Based Paint Disclosure & EPA Pamphlet – Required to be given to the tenant if the property was constructed before January 1, 1978 (to inform about the hazards of lead-based paint).[4]
