A Washington D.C. rent increase notice is a form used by a landlord to give notice of a rent increase to a tenant. In the District of Columbia, this notice must be given at least 30 days in advance for a month-to-month tenancy. Furthermore, rent may only be increased under particular circumstances.
Rent Control: For most tenants, rent may not be increased by more than the Consumer Price Index plus 2%, provided that this amount does not exceed 10%.[2]
