A 24-hour notice to enter is sent by a landlord to a tenant to notify them that the property will be accessed on a specific day and time. The laws in most States require at least 1 day’s notice, and if there are no requirements in the State, it’s highly recommended to let the tenant know ahead of time. This is common for making repairs, pest control, or any other non-emergency issue.
How to Give Notice
The landlord can place the notice on or under the door, with a person on the property, or standard mail (at least a week before the scheduled entry).
