A Utah roommate agreement is a legal document used by cohabitants of a rental unit or property. The document will outline the percentage of the total rent payment and security deposit to be paid to the landlord. The percentage of utilities and services that will be paid by each roommate will also be stated within the agreement. The remainder of the document will address responsibilities to be assumed by each tenant, in addition to what will be acceptable and unacceptable with regard to actions while residing among the other tenants on the premises.
