Vermont Month to Month Rental Agreement Form

Create a high quality document online now!

The Vermont Month to Month Rental Agreement is a legally binding agreement between a landlord and tenant that would allow the tenant to renew their rental agreement each month by simply paying their rent. This document avoids the complications of any longer term agreement for tenants and/or landlords who may have a need to terminate an agreement earlier without repercussion.

Minimum Termination Period – The landlord or tenant may provide a 60 day intent to vacate at any time to remain in compliance with the rental agreement. If the tenant(s) have remained upon the property for more than two years, the landlord is required to allow at least 90 days for the tenant(s) to vacate the property.

Laws – § 4467
