Detailed Real Estate Open House Sign-in Sheet

A detailed real estate open house sign-in sheet provides an ideal way to gain some additional information the showing’s attendees. In addition, to basic contact information, a better understanding of the attendee through some simple checkbox questions will be provided. This form may be downloaded directly from this site at your discretion.

How to Write

Step 1 – Access the Form

Select the “PDF,” “ODT,” or “Word” button underneath the image of the document on this page. This form will be available in these file types. If you wish to enter the Open House Information on screen, make sure you have the appropriate program used to edit the document type you are downloading.

Step 2 – Owner’s/Agent’s Info

The first line will contain two blank spaces. In the first space, report the Name of your Company. Then on the second blank space, present your Full Name. If you are not associated with a Company for this Open House, you may leave the first space blank.

The second line of this page will also contain two blank spaces. Enter the Phone Number you wish Prospective Buyers to use when contacting you in the first space. Then, in the second space, supply an E-Mail Address where you may be reliably reached.

Step 3 – Showing Information

Locate the “Address” line then, report the Full Street Address of the Property being shown for the Open House. On the space immediately to the right, labeled “Date,” enter the Open House Date.

Below Property Address, report how much this Property will cost a buyer on the space labeled “Asking Price.”

Step 4 – Presentation

Estimate how many Visitors will be attending the Open House then print the appropriate number of copies. Keep in mind, since this is a detailed form, only one Visitor’s Information will be presented per page. Make sure each Visitor has ample opportunity to fill this sheet out then submit it easily.

Step 5 – Signing In To An Open House

If you are attending an Open House, several pieces of information will be requested that are appropriate to the situation. The top half of the page will have some information for your records. Locate the box labeled “Open House Sign-In.” On the first line of this box, use the available spaces to supply your Full Name, Phone Number, and Email Address.

The second line of this box will require your Street Address, City, State, and Zip Code to be filled into the appropriately labeled areas.

The next area will contain three questions. In the first question, you may define your purpose for attending the Open House by placing a mark in the appropriate box. You will have four choices to choose from: “Looking to Buy Right Away,” “Buying Within a Year,” “Just Looking,” and “I’m Selling a Property.”

The second question will ask for a basic financial status. If you have a pre-approved loan, then select the first checkbox. If you have not been pre-approved for a loan, then select the second checkbox.

The final question will request information regarding your interest in the Property being shown. Select the first checkbox, if you are seeking a Single Family Home. Select the second check box if you are interested in a Condo. Select the third check box if you are interested in Newly Constructed Properties. You may choose one or more to indicate your preferences.
