Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring compliance with state laws and regulations;
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents;
- Conducting financial analyses;
- Reconciling accounts, including cash, trades, income and dividends, special deposits, etc.;
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for portfolios;
- Preparing tax reports for investment accounts; and
- Conducting risk analysis assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field;
- Working knowledge of accounting laws and regulations;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Experience in the investment sector;
- A background in economics; and
- A Personal Financial Specialist Certificate, Master’s degree, or CPA certification is preferred but not required.
