Indiana Notice to Quit | Non-Compliance Violation

Updated June 08, 2023

An Indiana non-compliance notice to quit is a memo issued to a tenant for any lease violation not related to rent payment. This is commonly for property damage or any other material violation and the tenant is required to have a “reasonable amount of time to remedy the noncompliance.” It is advised that the tenant be given an ample amount of time, such as 10 days, to correct the matter. Or however long the landlord believes it would take to correct.
