Oregon 14/10 Day Notice to Quit Form | Non-Compliance

An Oregon non-compliance notice to quit is sent by a landlord to a tenant for a lease violation. It gives the tenant 14 days to cure the issue or vacate at the end of the notice period. If this is the 2nd violation in the previous six months, the landlord can terminate the lease by submitting a 10-day notice to the tenant.

2nd Violation

If this is the tenant’s second time violating the lease in the same manner, within the last six months, then the landlord shall have the option to cancel the lease altogether and give the tenant ten days to move out of the property.

Veterans’ Notice

The following notice must be included if the tenant is a veteran:

“If the Tenant is a veteran of the armed forces that assistance may be available from a county veterans’ service officer or community action agency.

The contact person for a service officer appointed under ORS § 408.410 for which a veteran lives in Oregon can be found at the following directory: www.oregon.gov/odva/services/pages/county-services.aspx

In addition, the contact information for a local county veterans’ service officer and community action agency may be obtained by calling a 2-1-1 information service.”
