The Washington ten (10) day notice to quit is a legal document that is served by a landlord to the tenant(s) of the rental property because they have violated the terms of their lease. This document allows the tenant(s) the opportunity to rectify the specific violation or vacate the premises.

If, in fact, the violation is not rectified the within ten (10) days of the date of the notice, and the tenant(s) have not vacated the premises, the landlord would then be within their rights to terminate the lease, acting within the laws of the state. The landlord must begin these actions by completing this document and providing service or delivery.
