- Vacant Land or Lot Disclosure Statement – Sellers may provide potential buyers with a statement disclosing the property’s condition and any material defects. However, the seller is not obligated by state law to disclose information regarding the real estate prior to the sale.
- Contamination of Premises, Radioactive or Hazardous Material Disclosure – A seller of a property that has been contaminated with radioactive waste or other hazardous material must disclose such defects to potential buyers in writing.[1]
- Where to Record? – Deeds must be filed in the Recorder of Deeds Office of the county in which the real estate is situated.[2]
