A COVID-19 ("coronavirus") lease amendment allows a landlord to defer, forgive, or terminate a lease agreement with the tenant's consent. If the amendment defers or forgives rent, the form may be signed by the landlord only. If the amendment terminates the lease agreement, it must also be signed by the tenant.
