Laws

  • Minimum Termination Period – Either party may terminate a tenancy at will by providing notice at least one month in advance.[1]
  • Increasing Rent – Missouri state law allows landlords to increase rent at their discretion. Therefore, landlords can provide increase rent on a month-to-month tenancy by providing 30 days’ notice according to the terms of the lease.
