- Lead-Based Paint Disclosure & EPA Pamphlet – Tenants moving into properties built before 1978 must legally be notified that they could be exposed to lead-based paint.
- Nonrefundable Fees – Any nonrefundable fees, such as application or pet fees, must be listed in the lease agreement.[1]
Security Deposit Laws
Maximum Amount – No statute.
Returning – Security deposits must be returned within 60 days of the end of a tenancy or within 45 days of a new tenant moving in, whichever is earlier.[2]
