How To Write

Step 1 – Parties

  • Enter the date that the document is being created
  • Enter the name of the landlord
  • Enter the name of the tenant(s)
  • Enter the address of where the property is located
  • Enter the city where the property is situated

Step 2 – Term – Provide the following information

  • Provide the date that the agreement will commence
  • Provide the date of the agreement’s expiration

Step 3 – Rent – Landlord must provide

  • The amount of the total rent annually
  • Enter the amount of the rent in monthly installments
  • Enter the address where the rent payments will be delivered in person or by mail

Step 4 – Security Deposit – Specify:

  • The amount of the security deposit
  • Tenant(s) must review the remainder of this section

Step 5 – Late Fee – Provide the following:

  • Landlord must enter the amount that will be charged with in the event of a delinquent rent payment
  • Provide any additional daily fees that will be charged

Step 6 – Returned Check Fee

  • Landlord must enter the fee that would be charged in the event that a check is returned as insufficient
