A Delaware notary acknowledgment form enables the certification of signatures on a legal document by a notary public. All parties involved in the signing of the document must be present in order for the notary to verify their identity. Once identities have been confirmed, the signers must declare that they have signed the document of their own free will. Alternatively, the signers may sign the document in front of the notary; this is often recommended to avoid any legal complications. The notary will then complete the acknowledgment form, including their seal and signature to ensure the document’s validity.
