The Alaska employment contract agreement is a written agreement between an employer and employee that outlines the terms of an exchange of services for compensation. An employment agreement should define the employee’s duties, compensation, the period of employment, non-disclosure compliance, non-compete compliance, and, in some situations, vacation pay, and benefits. The most important part of an employment contract is that both parties understand and agree to the terms therein, which will help in avoiding future legal complications.
