An Oklahoma 5-Day Notice to Quit (Non-Payment of Rent) is a document used to notify a tenant that their rent is past due. It may be delivered to a tenant at any time thereafter for the failure to pay rent. If the tenant fails to pay rent within five (5) days after written notice of the demand for payment, the landlord may terminate the rental agreement. This notice to quit is a demand for past due rent and also acts as a demand for possession if the tenant fails to pay, therefore, no other further notice needs to be given.
