A dog sales receipt is used to acknowledge the full payment or deposit for the purchase of a dog or puppy. If the buyer is only making a deposit, this amount will go towards the full price that they must pay when they collect their dog. This proof of payment gives the buyer further evidence that they legally paid for and gained ownership of their pet.
