A manager is a role that delegates work and oversees other employees to ensure their productivity. There are many types of managers that require specific skill requirements. Most organizations will seek a manager with past experience and a bachelor’s degree in business-related academia.

Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications
Although the diversity of manager position means there are many different desirable qualities, it is common for a manager to have the following:
- Past experience (2-5 years);
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or similar business degree;
- Motivational abilities;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Certifications or other education in the specific industry; and a
- General understanding of office software (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
